Program history

The AUTOTYP research program was launched in 1996 by Balthasar Bickel and Johanna Nichols, but individual data collection began much earlier. The current theoretical and technological framework was adopted in early 2001. Since then, data collection has gained considerable speed and the number of projects grows continously.
